Before Thursday 20 February 2025 all households must collect their kit consisting of:
10-litre bin for food waste
Credentials to activate the Amia Verona app
Personal smart card for opening roadside bins
The Ta.Ri. account holder (or someone on their behalf) must collect the kit from the dedicated ecodesks (see page 7) submitting the completed coupon you can find on page 19. All practical information will be provided during the meetings and at the ecodesks and there will also be a waste disposal simulation.
SMART CARD COLLECTION: FINES FOR THOSE THAT DON’T PICK UP THEIR SMART CARD
All producers of waste are required to COLLECT THEIR SMART CARD as per the urban waste management regulations of the Municipality of Verona. Pursuant to article 7 paragraph 6 letter L of these regulations, failure to collect the smart card will result in a € 200 penalty, as established by Chapter IV-Monitoring and Penalties art. 38, paragraph 6.
DOOR-TO-DOOR COLLECTION
OF PAPER/CARDBOARD AND PLASTIC/METAL
Paper/cardboard and plastic/metal packaging will be collected door-to-door from homes on a weekly basis. Households should put their rubbish out for collection on public roads as per the following graphic:
